Hello, guys, I’m back! My schedule is crazy, I’m mostly on duty during weekends and I have to recuperate during the weekdays, so basically I’m still adjusting to my new schedule. I do promise to keep up with my blog and follow a feasible blogging schedule.
This is actually an overdue post. I bought this lip and cheek tint last summer for my beach trip because I wanted to achieve a glowing orangey summer look. And since I love the brand The Face Shop I immediately purchased The Face Shop Watery Tint in 03 Orange Scene.
- Volume : 5g
- Skin Type : All skin type
- Water gel texture with moisture light application on the lips.
- Get Fresh lively clear lips.
- Water gel type applies evenly without any stains.
Packaging: The packaging is nice and simple: it comes in a plastic tube and applicator. The small size is really convenient and very travel-friendly.
Pigment/ Texture: This product is so pigmented and the shade 03 is the perfect red-orange colour I hoped for. The texture is gel based so it glides very smoothly.
Performance: This watery tint dries longer than other Korean tints I have tried. This is actually an advantage for the cheeks since this product is so pigmented that you have more time to blend it so you won’t get streaky, blotched cheeks. As for the lips, it dries unevenly as it clings to cracks and lines of the lips. No matter how I try to blend it evenly it dries up in patches. It’s impossible for me to create a gradient lip using this tint. In terms of staying power, it lasts all day on the cheeks however it fades irregularly on the lips.
Price/ Availability: The price of this watery tint is really cheap ₱250.00 ($5) and it’s available in The Face Shop stores nationwide.
Final thoughts: It is a decent cheek tint but I’m really disappointed how it performed as a lip tint. I love The Face Shop and I wanted to love this product but I have tried other Korean tints that are as cheap and perform better than this.
