Yey for monthly round-up #2! It’s been a very busy month so I was not able to follow a blogging schedule again. I do work 40 hours/week in the hospital and go to clinic 2-3x a week so I have almost one day off per week (which I spend on sleeping, malling and watching series/YouTube).

What’s in my Travel Makeup Bag: Cambodia

psx_20180724_0944271945939947.jpg

If you read my previous post you already know that I visited Cambodia last month. The last time I went to Cambodia was eight years ago, but we only visited Phnom Penh and skipped Siem Reap. Of course, I have to come back for Angkor Wat. Given that it was raining hard the whole month of July in the Philippines, I’m not sure what to expect with regards to Cambodia’s weather.

Because I was there for only less than three days I only packed a few things. Most of the products I packed with me are my daily essentials. Here are the products I brought:Read More »

Bioré UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence is my ultimate Holy Grail sunscreen. I do not leave the house/ condo without putting this on. So when I found out that Bioré released a limited edition last Spring in Japan I did not have any second thoughts, I immediately purchased it.

The Face Shop Watery Tint Review

Hello, guys, I’m back! My schedule is crazy, I’m mostly on duty during weekends and I have to recuperate during the weekdays, so basically I’m still adjusting to my new schedule. I do promise to keep up with my blog and follow a feasible blogging schedule.
The Face Shop Watery Tint

This is actually an overdue post. I bought this lip and cheek tint last summer for my beach trip because I wanted to achieve a glowing orangey summer look. And since I love the brand The Face Shop I immediately purchased The Face Shop Watery Tint in 03 Orange Scene.Read More »

Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray Review

The worse thing than the unbearable summer heat is the sticky feeling of my makeup melting and sliding down my face. Even though most of the makeup products I’m using are relatively long-lasting, sometimes there are just limits to their longevity. That’s why I felt the need to resort to setting spray. If there’s a product that could make my makeup last the entire day without any touchups, I’ll definitely try it. When it comes to setting sprays it, (based on reviews), it seems like Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray is the gold standard. Let’s see what’s the fuss is about…

Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray

Korean Sheet Masks Haul

psx_20180608_1809531950824478.jpg

I love K-Beauty but I do not have the time for their 10 step skincare routine. But I do love their sheet masks; they’re cheap, effective and fun to use. When I was reviewing for my diplomate board exam, my idea of relaxation is a 15-minute sheet mask study-break while watching PONY syndrome make-up tutorials on YouTube. I did it every day for almost a month and boy my skin looked really great during the day of my exam. There are so many sheet masks in the market but these are my top picks:

#5 TONYMOLY I’m Real  Makgeolli Mask Sheet Skin Purifying
TONYMOLY I'm Real  Makgeolli Mask Sheet Skin PurifyingWhat it does: Makgeolli mask makes uneven skin tone look radiant and glowing.
What I love about this: I love the I’m Real sheet masks collection from TonyMoly, especially their cute packaging. Makgeolli a.k.a. Korean rice wine contains amino acids and vitamins that supposedly help brighten the skin.Read More »

ColourPop Take Me Home Eyeshadow Review

I was looking for a mini palette as a substitute for my overused Urban Decay Naked Basic. TBH I do reach more for my mini palettes than the full sized palettes, which most of the time stay on my shelf. I was searching for an inexpensive brand, then I realised I haven’t tried any of ColourPop’s palettes. The Take Me Home Palette looks good, and since Tati approves of this eyeshadow in her video, I might as well give it shot.

Colourpop Take Me Home
ColourPop Take Me Home

Product Description: Take Me Home is the perfect eyeshadow palette for travel or touchups. It features six super-pigmented pressed powder shadows in versatile everyday shades with matte and metallic finishes. The formula applies evenly and feels ultra-velvety and silky. These long-wearing shadows contain a unique combination of softer powders which adheres easily to the eyes, gives a soft-focus effect, and blends smoothly and evenly.

Packaging: ColourPop eyeshadow palettes come in a cardboard packaging. But this has a plus, unlike other ColourPop palettes this packaging comes with a mirror.Read More »
