Drugstore Micellar Water Review: Biore, Garnier, L’Oreal & Nivea

If you’re a busy (and a lazy) girl like me then micellar water is your best friend. It’s cheap, hydrating and it removes dirt and makeup in an instant. I wished I have known micellar water when I was in 1st-year residency, a period when my skincare routine is non-existent. But now I can’t live without it, I have a bottle in my house, in my condominium unit, in the hospital and in my travel/duty bag.

So for this post, I’ll review four popular drugstore micellar cleansers in the Philippines. Criteria for this review are affordability, ingredients and performance as a cleanser. As for ingredients, I’ll base this from CoSDNA, a site where product ingredients are analyzed for Comedogenic and Irritation (0-5) and Safety index from (1-9). The lower the number the better.

Because I knew I’ll spend the whole day on the beach basking in the sun, I chose a heavy-duty sunscreen with incredibly high SPF. This sunscreen comes in a small bottle, a perfect fit in my beach bag. What I love about this sunscreen is its formula: it’s lightweight and non-greasy!
